SHORT® Implants
THE BICON DESIGN is driven by simplicity. A cornerstone of its simplicity is SHORT® Implants. When the Bicon system was first introduced in 1985, its 8.0mm length implants were considered quite short — most other implants were at least 12-14mm and sometimes 18-20mm long! Since then, the natural progression of Bicon’s design philosophy has resulted in 5.0mm and 6.0mm SHORT® Implants all with proven clinical success.
Scannable Temporary Abutments
Bicon’s Scannable Temporary Abutments provide for an efficient and cost-effective digital recording of an implant’s position at the time of its one-stage surgical placement or later.
- Acts as both a temporary abutment and a Digital Scan Post at the same time
- Provides for fewer number of patient visits
- Digitally-scanned image must include the entire occlusal circumference of the abutment
- Choose any abutment size or Millable Abutment Blank for the final restoration
- Fabricate the prosthesis while the implant is healing
Thin Crestal Temporary Abutments
Bicon’s Thin Crestal Temporary Abutments can prevent the inadvertent over seating of an implant while facilitating mucosal closure.
- Used in either arch to prevent the inadvertent over seating of an implant
- Used with 3.0mm well implants
- Thinness facilitates mucosal closure
- Threaded bore permits for the easy insertion or removal with a threaded instrument
- Threaded bore provides for the screw retention of a membrane
Millable Abutment Blanks
Bicon’s Millable Abutment Blanks provide for custom abutments while assuring the quality and precision of the Bicon locking taper connection.
- Increase your efficiency
- Design and mill your own custom Bicon abutments with optimal gingival contours
- Assure maximum titanium contact with the gingival sulcus, especially for less than ideally positioned implants
TRINIA® Metal-Free CAD/CAM Material
WHY TRINIA®? Dentists and technicians are seeking alternatives to metal substructures with improved clinical capabilities. TRINIA® is today’s CAD/CAM solution for metal-free restorations.
ONLY TRINIA®
- Biocompatible and metal-free
- Modifiable and repairable
- Lightweight and flexible
- No firing required
- Provides for longer distal extensions
- By definition, cannot be a cantilever due to its flexibility
NEW - TRINIA® EPC Blocks
“Designed for the digital fabrication of endodontic post and core restorations less than 15mm in length.”
- Efficient and effective chairside digital fabrication of endodontic post and core restorations
- TRINIA® restorations have a similar modulus of elasticity to dentin
- The post and core restoration does not have an interface, since it is milled from one material
- If two restorations are milled together, eight post and core restorations can be milled from one block
Drill Stop Pilot Drills
“When the anatomy permits, Bicon’s 2.0mm diameter Drill Stop Pilot Drills allow you to confidently drill a 2.0mm pilot osteotomy confidently to a precise depth.”
- Seven stops ranging from 5.0mm–11mm
- Self-contained in compact surgical tray
- Anodized stainless steel for increased longevity
